Skye Rachelle Petho
Skye Petho is a multidisciplinary artist living and working on Biripi land in Port Macquarie, where the bush meets the sea and offers daily reminders of what truly matters. Her deep connection to nature is evident in everything she creates. Beginning her artistic journey in glass — drawn to light and form — her practice has since evolved to include mediums such as watercolour and acrylic. Through these, she explores the complex, beautiful, and often fractured relationship between humans and the natural world.
Skye’s work is a conversation — with land, with water, and with the systems that shape how we live and consume. She believes art has the power to disrupt, to challenge inherited narratives, and to question how we treat the earth and one another. Her creations are invitations — to reflect, to feel, and to truly see what surrounds us, before it disappears.
